EMBA Application Deadline

Completed applications for admission into the RIT Executive MBA Program beginning August 2013 must be received by the EMBA office no later than June 30, 2013.

Applications for the class beginning in August each year are accepted as early as the Fall.  Acceptance to the program is made on a rolling admissions basis.  Applications may be submitted at any time, but must be received by the EMBA office no later than the last day of June.  If the class is filled before the deadline any qualified applicants will be placed on a waiting list.

To be considered for admission to the E. Philip Saunders College of Business Executive MBA Program, a candidate must:

  • Have at least six years of professional experience and hold advanced technical, managerial, or executive responsibilities;
  • Have earned a bachelor’s degree from an accredited university;
  • Be interviewed by a representative of the Executive MBA team; and
  • Submit a completed application package.

Application Package Components

A completed Executive MBA application package consists of the following items:

  1. Completed EMBA application form
  2. Current resume
  3. Official transcripts from all schools
  4. Letter of recommendation
  5. Personal statement
  6. $100 non refundable application fee

Applicants whose native language is not English are also required to take the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL).

Acknowledgement and Interview

When your package is complete, the EMBA office will contact you to schedule an interview.  You will be notified of the admission decision as soon as possible following the interview.
